Hello there,

I have connected:

  1. HP ENVY Laptop 15-ep0xxx (Thunderbolt controller - 15EB)
  2. HP USB-A/C Universal Dock G2
  3. HP S340c curved monitor
  4. (HP wireless keyboard and mouse)

 

Issues:

  1. The camera from the monitor is not detected
  2. The dock station does not charge the laptop

Solution?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Are you getting error message while accessing web camera?
  • Did you make any changes on the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

 

So,  the problems started since the first installation.

 

I have tried to connect recently other two laptops to both the monitor and the docking station and in both cases the two devices delivered successfully power to the laptops.

 

The laptops are:

HP EliteBook 830 G5

HP ProBook 440 G6

 

I have noticed also that the USB Connector Manager keeps appearing and disappearing from the Device Manager.

 

Please feel free to ask further details if needed.
