So, the problems started since the first installation.
I have tried to connect recently other two laptops to both the monitor and the docking station and in both cases the two devices delivered successfully power to the laptops.
The laptops are:
HP EliteBook 830 G5
HP ProBook 440 G6
I have noticed also that the USB Connector Manager keeps appearing and disappearing from the Device Manager.
