HP ENVY dv6t-7200 CTO Quad Edition Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am wanting to upgrade my display from HD to FHD so that I get at least 1080p resolution. In the manual for the dv6, it shows that I should be able to upgrade to the FHD Display- part  number 682090-001 - as long as I have the display cable to go along with it (part number 682055-001).

So is this correct, or is my laptop not able to upgrade for some reason?

More info on the device:

Product: B6C70AV

Model: dv6t-7200

It can be done. Correct parts:

15.6-in, AntiGlare, FHD display panel 682090-001

Display panel cable for use only on computer models equipped with an FHD display assembly and an Intel processor 682057-001

This is a dropin replacement for the panel but the cable requires some significant disassembly. I see you already have the Manual so post back if you need any more help and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Awesome! That seller seemed to think that panel wasn't going to work but I'm guessing that's because it needs a new cable as well? I ordered the cable already and I've replaced it before so I shouldn't have any issues with the teardown :]
