Got a fairly new HP ENVY x360 Convertible with AMD Ryzen 7 chipset that keeps getting very hot when in sleep mode. When I wake it up the fan comes on full speed to try and cool it down. Surely this isn't normal? I use sleep most of the time as there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it back on unless it's sitting in standard laptop position.
It's sitting in a hard flat surface with plenty of air ventilation and stays nice and cool when in normal use. Just not when in sleep mode!
