Hi everyone, I wonder if someone could help me?

I purchased my HP envy notebook in November 2018 and I haven't had any problems with it until recently. The hinge on the left side is suddenly completely out of sync with the one on the right, so much so that I now can no longer even close the pc or flip it around to use the touch screen.

My warranty ran out in November 2019, so i'm a little over 2 months over. Upon searching for this problem online for a solution or cost to fix I can see that this seems to be a big problem with the Hp Envy PCs.  I have tried to contact HP through their chat but I get redirected to here as my warranty is out of date.

I am SO disappointed that this has happened, the PC wasn't cheap and it was an investment that I thought would last me a lot longer than this.  This is my first HP laptop and  it's extremely off-putting.

Would HP do anything to help me? Does anyone know the cost of this type of repair?

Thanks in advance - One very upset HP envy owner.
