Hi,

I have a problem with Dell D6000 dock 65W and laptop HP EliteBook Folio G1(X8W60UC) which can't be charged by this docking station.

I tested laptop and dock and charging works, but it does not work together.

Is it restricted by HP?

Thanks for any help.

@Mar23

Are they COMPATIBLE ? Why you take the risk to use third party product when your machine supports the following docks

  • HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 DockP5Q54AA#xxx
  • HP USB-C Travel DockT0K29AA#xxx
  • HP Display and Notebook Stand IIE8G00AA#xxx
  • HP Elite USB-C Docking StationT3V74AA

Regards.

I have tested the HP EliteBook with the Dell D6000.  The peripherals work fine (displayport, usbs etc) but the D6000 will not charge the HP.  Don't feel bad about the previous answer, there are a number of valid reasons to ask this question as schools, flexible work areas and libraries only install one type.  Golden rule: if you can't answer the question, don't change the subject.
