Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi
I'd like to know if it is possible to insert m.2 2242 SSD into spare m.2 slot ( it is empty in my configuration). If yes - what kind  (NVME, SATA3 )? 
I've already tried to insert transcend ts240gmts420s but with no luck - even BIOS unable to see it.

That slot is for WWAN only the motherboard has not been designed to run a storage disk in that slot.
