Hello,

 

I have a 1TB hard drive installed. I would like to install a SSD but before buying I would like to know what my options are. Basically, can I install an SSD and keep the hard drive? Is there an extra Sata or m2 connector available with this laptop?

No, it is an old generation machine and the series does not support dual storage option therefore the chance to have M.2 slot for storage is very slim to none. Some machines do have SINGLE storage with M.2 SATA SSD drive.

Ok, thank you for the answer. I guess I can install a(ny) caddy in place of the dvd drive and put the HDD there
