Like the title says, My battery is swollen, to the point where when my laptop is closed, the bulge prevents it from closing all the way. The buttons on the trackpad do not work and it looks like the trackpad is coming separated from the laptop. I know Envy's have a recall for the battery, and it now says they might explode. When I run the HP battery check, it says the battery is fine. I do not believe this. The laptop also gets extremely hot, even to the touch. It's out of warranty, but letting this thing explode doesn't seem like the best thing to let happen. Please help.

That doesn't help, only brings me in circles saying that my battery isn't under warranty anymore and recommends to contact HP but without any contact information. Just brings me back to the community support page where I am now posting this reply.
