HP Envy Broken Screw Fitting on Case Near Left Hinge

I read many about many people with the same issue as me in the "HP Envy 17 Broken Screw Fitting on Case Near Left Hinge" thread, but there was never a fix described, only "I sent you a private message."  Please help!

HP Envy Broken Screw Fitting on Case Near Left Hinge

Mine broke a little after a month of purchasing it. I ignored it, which was a mistake. Now it has been about a year later and I have had more plastic fittings break. I kid you not, I have duct tape holding my laptop together. Why not make the fittings out of metal? [Content Removed]
