HP Envy Fan Issue

HP Recommended
Envy

I bought my HP Envy last year on a black friday sale. A few weeks ago the fan started making a very loud noise and I couldnt turn my laptop on due to a cooling issue. I had someone that work on computers take a look and he said I needed a new fan. I bought a new fan one that is used by HP and he replaced it. It worked great after replacing the fan but maybe 10 days later it started making a loud annoying sound again. Had the guy look at it and he said it was the fan again. He said it is still good to use but meanwhile I have to listen to the loud annoying sound nearly the entire time I am using my laptop. He feels it is an HP issue since it was an HP fan that I bought to have it replaced. Was wondering if anyone else has this issue? Is it worth replacing the fan again or is it something else causing the fan to malfunction?

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.

  • What is the exact model for your computer?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Look forward to hearing from you and you have a great day!

Take care.
