Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I bought my HP Envy 360 at the end of 2017. Similarly to lots of other people on this forum I have taken good care of the laptop however last week I opened it as usual and the left hinge broke causing a crack in my screen which is gradually getting worse. I can no longer close my laptop as doing so causes further damage. 

 

As this is a common issue I'd appreciate a response from HP on how to proceed without needing to use the paid telephone technical support.

So I have the same problem, brought around the same time. HP have told me it will cost £400 and are refusing to admit there is a design fault, which I think there is as others have the same problem and we took very good care of ours. How did you get on with HP?
