HP Envy X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened up my computer and the left hinge separated from the screen.   I take very good care of my computer, very mild usage.   I've only had it for about a year and a half.   Sure enough after a quick search, numerous people experienced the same design flaw:

I spoke to customer service who said it will cost over $400 to repair... $400 for a hinge... A hinge that is clearly a design flaw... Again the laptop had mild usage, not even 2 years old, and has the same design flaw as others have experienced.  Please advise if there is a way to rectify this issue.  Otherwise this will be my last hp product.
