Envy x360 Convertible Laptop 15-aq123ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Envy x360 Convertible Laptop Model 15-aq123ca with an i7-7500u processor and a 256 GB M2 SSD. I would like to add a second SSD (1-2 TB). Does anyone know if this model can support a second SSD, either M2 or 2.5”?

Unfortunately, that is only a maybe.

Your notebook is the successor to the HP Envy x360 15-w000 series notebooks.

There is no support for an additional M.2 SSD.

The HP Envy x360 15-w000  did support an additional legacy 2.5 hard drive,

The problem is that your notebook is not delivered with the Hard drive bracket assembly  (that would be required to install one.

Thanks for the reply.

Are you saying that there is room for a 2.5” drive? If there is, couldn’t I just order the mounting bracket and cable?
