I had a loud fan noise coming from my laptop when on Zoom or Netflix. Would not stop until I held down the power button. Sent in for repair and HP bought the laptop from me so I could get a new one. Bought a replacement and I have the same problem?!?! Must be a defect in the laptop

I am surprised that HP replaced the laptop -- because this is a common result of video streaming using the newer laptops.

That places a LOT of demand on the CPU and video processors, that heats up the inside of an already cramped laptop, and that drives up the fan speed.

When I stream, my processor loads up all the cores to nearly 100% and the fan spins loudly as a result.

They replaced the laptop because the fan was broken. Not a CPU issue. Then I bought a new laptop (same kind) and it is having the same hardware issue.
