According to the product specification it shows that your PC has been shipped with 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD Hard drive.

In order to check the compatibility, I would recommend you go through the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook. Here you will find the list of parts which are tested and compatible with your notebook.

Chapter 1. Product description - Page number 1

Chapter 3. Illustrated parts catalog - page number 19

Regarding this part HP EX920 M.2 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe 3D TLC NAND Internal Solid State Drive -If you wish to try you can try at your own discretion.

Please note, these are the parts which are tested on your PC, If you wish to try other parts you can try it at your own discretion, HP Doesn't recommend any upgrade/downgrade of any hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product. It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance.
