Hello

 

I am using the latest drivers for my laptop.

 

There are no biometeric devices appearing in windows device manager and i could not find any relevant option to enabled fingerprint reader in the BIOS.

 

Please support.

Did you buy your machine with option HP Fingerprint Sensor ? Because from its specs

 

 
HP Client Security Manager Gen6 (requires Windows and available on select platforms)
HP Fingerprint Sensor (sold separately or as an optional feature)

 

Your machine may have a place for the sensor but no physical sensor.

Yes i think this is it.

 

HP finally made probook a decent series but on the other hand now making user have to pay more for the fingerprint sensor. Simply not good.
