Ran PC hardware diagnostics 1.6.6.0 diagnostic test on hard drive and got result:
Short Drive Self-Test-Storage 1: Toshiba MQ01ABD100
TestVersion = 1.2.0.0 TestId = 53a826d5-9440-4b66-8cab-bf8a44956a7e Instance =
Storage 1: TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100 StartTime = 2020-09-03T12:05:38 ExecutionDuration = 00:00:34 Result =
ExecutionFailed ErrorCode = 303 FailureId = 0XXCHQ-772A7P-MFGH7G-60R413
==================================================
ShortDST failed: TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100, 543VTBKBT The previous self-test completed having the read element of the test failed (0x7).
Is there is an option to fix the problem instead of replacing hard drive? is this a reliable test result?
Thank you.

Hi,
Yes you will need to replace the drive and reinstall the OS. You could replace with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD of your desired capacity which would give a great boost in the everyday performance of the PC.
Example:

You will need to reinstall the OS

Hope it helps,
David
