I’m using display ports to connect this laptop to the monitors via the usb c connection to the dock. It works w another laptop I own but this one is not working.  All the internet searches have been wishy washy does anyone know if this notebook is incompatible w this dock via display ports? Is there a reasonable workaround? TIA!

Its specs

It ONLY has a hopless USB-C port which is NOT compatible with HP USB-C G5 dock nor any standard USB-C docks.  If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter
