Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop suddenly wont turn on unless plugged in. When plugged in, it charges fast then drains fast. I have had this laptop for 2 and a half years and have been careful about overcharging as I also installed times to detect full charge so as not to overcharge it. I am stumped on what would have caused this. I have recently updated some Windows elements but full windows 10 updates did not fully finish. As per Microsoft community, there really is a prob with the latest update not pushing through.  Hope you can help me.
