Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've bought a notebook hp (part number 4L3V7EA). As far as I see there is a hard drive (256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD). I/d like to add more memory. Can I add one more hard drive? Is it support SSD 2.5 or only SSD M.2 ? If only SSD M.2 then which one should I use? Is there place fore two hard drives or only for one ? Which way is better to upgrade memory from 256 GB to 1000GB or so ?

You're very welcome.

That model drive should work fine, but since the M.2 slot your notebook has is only PCIe Gen 3.0, the most speed you can expect to get from a Gen 4.0 SSD would be around 3,500 MBPS.

Hi:

The PC only has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD and no support to add a 2.5" drive.

If you need more storage, you will have to replace the 256 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

Look into either the Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD or the Western Digital Blue SN570 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD.

HP only has the service manual for the older 15s-eq0xxx model series, but it should be of help to you for opening up the notebook to replace the drive.

Thanks for answer! Is it possible to set up SSD ADATA LEGEND 800 M.2 2280 2tb ? Will it work properly?  Does the laptop support the PCIe 4.0 ?
