Hello,

 

I would like to add RAM to my HP Laptop - 17-by3014ur. I was told by my local service that the maximum memory capacity is 2x8GB = 16GB.

 

But dmidecode tool says I have 32 memory capacity and 2 slots.

 

According to product specification page I indeed have 8GB. But unfortunately it says nothing about memory capacity.

 

Is it possible to add 2 16GB memory modules to my laptop?
