HP Starwars Edition 15-an050nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP laptop was operating slowly, I decided to upgrade to a SSD. The current HDD is a toshiba 1TB so I ordered a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD to do this upgrade. I used EaseUS Todo Backup 12.0 to clone the hard drive, but when I installed the new SSD I received a blue screen Recovery Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. error code 0xc000000e. I tried all the variations in EaseUS software to not get the error. I did the cmos battery removal hard restart, command prompt chkdsk, diskpart checks, bootrec /fixboot and nothing would get the drive to boot. Finally I saw somewhere that Macrium Reflect software will clone the HP disk with the recovery partition, so i downloaded the free version and cloned the HDD to SDD and it works with no problems. Putting this info out for others that my have the same problem I did

Yes I also am a big fan of Macrium. Just advised another Forum User to use Macrium Reflect Free to clone.
