Hello Guys,
I have an HP OMEN Laptop 16-b0352TX (Product Number: 4D8E1PA), and my original 200W AC adapter has stopped working.
When I checked the HP Store, only the 230W adapter is listed as available for purchase.
My questions are:
Is the 230W adapter fully compatible with my OMEN 16-b0352TX laptop?
Will using the 230W adapter cause any issues with charging, performance, or battery health, since my laptop originally came with a 200W adapter?
I am based in India—can I use the 230W adapter with my region’s power supply without any issues?
Additional Details:
OS - Windows 11
Any advice from the community or HP experts is much appreciated before I place the order!
Thank you,
Pravin Kumar

Hi @pravin1101,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for reaching out — and great question! We’ve looked into your system, the HP OMEN Laptop 16-b0352TX (Product Number: 4D8E1PA), and we're happy to confirm the following:
Yes, the 230W HP Smart AC Adapter (Part Number: M41303-001) is fully compatible with your OMEN 16-b0352TX laptop.
Your device supports up to 230W input, and using this adapter will not cause any issues with charging, performance, or battery health.
The 230W adapter is often used interchangeably with the 200W adapter across many OMEN models, especially when the original part isn’t available.
Regional Compatibility (India)
You can safely use the 230W adapter with standard power supplies in India. The adapter supports a wide voltage range (typically 100–240V, 50/60Hz), making it region-agnostic. Just ensure you're using it with a proper 3-pin grounded socket for safety.
For More Technical Info
You can find additional information about supported adapters in your laptop’s User Guide here: Maintenance and Service Guide
Refer to page 20, which details the supported power configurations and part numbers.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
