Currently I have 1TB internal 2.5" HDD on my HP Notebook 15-da1019tu and HP India customer support told me that with 1TB internal HDD, its only support upto 256 GB SSD (NVMe or SATA III).
So is it correct information or possible to use 1TB HP SSD (NVMe) storage along with internal 1TB HDD?
I want to buy HP EX900 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD if my laptop support it along with 1TB current internal 1TB HDD.
Thanks.

I don't know why they have that 256GB idea. You should be able to install 1TB M.2 SSD
Regards.
