Hello everyone,
I have attached pictures below of my device. As you can see, the bottom left part of the frame snapped out of place. This happened a few days ago without any prior warning or unusual sounds. As a result, I can no longer close and open my laptop. I am currently keeping it in its current position at all times.
I bought this laptop on Black Friday 2017, so almost 2.5 years old. I have never dropped the laptop, and have taken extremely good care of it (still runs perfectly, no problems at all whatsoever). The laptop is out of warranty.
Is there any way I can fix this by myself for cheap? I haven't gone to any repair shop/department store yet, but I can imagine it costs at least a couple hundred to fix this. I bought this laptop for $350, so I'm not looking to go that route.
I cannot afford a new laptop or a repair right now. I am an online college student so I need to do something quick (summer classes).
Please let me know what my best option will be.
