Product: Pavilion 15-cs3073cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I decide to upgrade my Pavilion 15-cs3073cl to M2 Nvme SSD and keep the original mechanical HD. Is there a step-by-step instruction that anyone can suggest? My SSD is Samsung 970EVO Plus 250GB.

Also, can I just use a USB external HD to create USE recovery, if my HD has data inside? Or, I need an empty one to do so?   Thank you.
