Pavilion 15 cx-0026nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

About one year ago I got HP Pavilion Gaming cx-0026nl Laptop. My laptop has a 128 GB SSD with Windows 10 installed and a 1TB HDD. I want to change my SSD with a 512 GB SSD one. I would like to ask if it's possible to do this replacement  and, in the case, what kind of slot support I have to choose for my new SSD.

Thanks!

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05985643

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

The M.2 slot your notebook has can support both SATA and NVMe SSD's.

NVMe SSD's provide faster read/write speeds than SATA ones do.

So I can basically install any SATA or NVM's ssd?

That would be correct.
