Recently I got in touch with HP support who recommended I change the battery of my laptop as it would not hold charge.

I bought a genuine HP laptop battery and fitted it as demonstrated on the HP videos (YouTube).

 

The Laptop did not boot, so I plugged in the charging cable and the laptop's orange charging light blinked once.

I put in the old battery as this one never had this issue however now it was having the same exact problem.

 

By following HP recommendations I've now lost access to my laptop completely and it is not under warranty either (expired).

I would appreciate if you could help me.

 

PS: I did not make any software related changes and all parts used are genuine including the AC adapter.
