My laptop has become slower, and many tines is frozen when I try to open different windows. Even more, it is uncapable to upgrade to WIndows 11. This has the original processor AMD A8-4500M APU. I have updated RAM to 8 but the performance doe snot improve. If I upgrade the processor, could it improve and be able to install windows 11_ which one will it be the optimal processor? Laptop was manufactured last 2009/09.

Even if you upgraded the processor none of the processors that your notebook's motherboard supports meet the W11 hardware requirements of an AMD Mobile Ryzen 3000 series processor and a TPM 2.0 security device.

Did you replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive?

If you have already upgraded the memory to 2 x 4 GB, installing a SSD would be the only other upgrade you can do.

You can upgrade from W10>W11 on your PC as is, but you would have to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks to do so.

If you are interested in doing that, watch is video which is probably the easiest way to do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11 on unsupported hardware.

I would install a SSD before upgrading the processor since the best one your PC's motherboard can support is the AMD A10-5750M processor, which according to this discussion should work in your notebook.
