I spilled milk on my keyboard, and approximately 5 hours after cleaning with tissue some keys are returning random arrays of letters.
How can I contact HP to send my keyboard in for repairs, or is this able be repaired DIY?

Since University depends on your having this within a few days, you should probably bite the bullet and source a new one.
Adding BSOD (blur screen of death) events, especially if it happened before you fritzed your keyboard, to the mix is the reason I make that strong suggestion.
It is unfortunate that you did not turn it upside down right after the liquid event occurred. YOu will definitely need a new keyboard and further troubleshooting to determine what caused the BSOD.
I wouldn't risk my future on a laptop that I really need that is acting weird.

I don't like to give bad news, but you may have ruined your laptop.
Liquids are the enemy of electronics.
If liquid has gotten inside of the laptop that is very bad. The liquid can short out components.
I suggest connecting a USB keyboard to see if you get similar results when checking the keys on the external keyboard.
The keyboard can be replaced if you did not get weird results when pressing keys on the external keyboard.
Do not use your laptop for several days. Let it dry out.
A DIY replacement of the keyboard involves a complete disassembly of the laptop. That is not something everyone is capable of doing.
Otherwise the only fix is to replace the laptop's system board and that is an expensive repair.
If that is required, you would be better off financially, to replace the laptop.

Thanks for the reply,
Since I made the post, I tested out my keyboard again and it worked fine for a few minutes until the keys stopped working by returning weird results again. As they stopped working, I plugged in an external keyboard and that was working fine - another problem which happened earlier was that the computer would randomly switch off and blue-screened which makes me worry whether it is a system board problem.
I'm not sure if the brief fix means that there's still liquid inside so I have shut down the laptop and have it upside-down just incase.
Unfortunately this has happened before I return to university tomorrow, so I am trying to find a quick fix - do you think this sounds like I should continue to let it dry and send it for repairs, or just bite the bullet and look for a new one ASAP?
