Hello, I have an HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg0501la, and I recently tried upgrading the RAM by installing a Corsair Vengeance 64GB kit (2x32GB) DDR4 SODIMM 3200MHz CL22 (model: CMSX32GX4M2A3200C22). However, after installing this RAM, my laptop does not display any video, and it seems to not detect the memory at all.

I have ensured that the modules are properly seated and attempted troubleshooting by testing each module individually, but the issue persists. I’ve also checked that my BIOS is up-to-date.

Could anyone provide insights into why this RAM might not be compatible or any additional steps I could try to resolve the issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, you can use up to 64GB

RAM's are NOT the same. You need to use COMPATIBLE RAM's. Please use the following RAM

 

              Memory module, 8 GB (DDR4-3200) part # L46598-005

@Banhien thanks for your answer, just one last question, would this model of RAM https://www.crucial.mx/memory/ddr4/ct2k32g4sfd832a/ct24287513 work well? I understand that the maximum it can support is 64GB, but I would like to be sure.
