Hello,
My friend gave me an old 17 laptop Windows 7 32 bit that she has never open for my son's school work. I need to help to get the drivers for the following:
USB controller driver
Ethernet controller
SM Bus controller
PCI Data Acquisition and Signal
They are showing under Other devices. The warranty expired Aug 2016. I have downloaded the HP assisstant but it cannot find those drivers.
Thank you in advance.

HP Support Assistant can't find them because the laptop shipped with Windows 10 on it and those drivers are what is available on the Support page. Evidently someone bungled a Windows 7 install on the laptop. You can order Recovery Media from HP on your Support page to reinstall Windows 10. Last item in the list of Windows 10 software/drivers.
Or-you can use the free Download Tool from Microsoft to make a Windows 10 installation USB flash drive. Boot with it and Install. If asked for a license key-Skip. The license key is embedded in BIOS.
