Hi,

I had this problem crop up recently with my HP pavilion x2 and my Samsung after a Windows 10 update. They both drained in sleep mode and when switched off. Here is the fix as supplied by an ex HP employee.

Go to Settings

Then System

Power & Sleep

Under heading of WIFI you will find two boxes:

When on battery power, stay connected to wifi while asleep
When plugged in, stay connected to wifi while asleep

Make sure both these boxes are unticked (clear)

You may find that your task bar shows your tablet/laptop in flight mode. It will still connect to the internet, but you can change this if you wish by clicking on the plane symbol and turning flight mode off. Just make sure you turn wifi back on if that goes off (it may do on some HP and Samsung units).

Hope this helps

I do not see your suggested heading of WIFI under Power/Sleep
