HP Pavilion X360 13-U113NL RAM

Hi,

The series has

Support DDR4–2133 Dual Channel
Supports up to 16–GB maximum on–board system memory

DDR4–2133 Dual Channel Support

● 16384 MB (8192 MB × 2 pieces)

● 12288 MB (8192 MB + 4096 MB)

● 8192 MB (4096 MB × 2 pieces)

● 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1)

● 6144 MB (2048 MB + 4096 MB)

● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1)

Normally on-board means soldered to the montherboard or NON-upgradable.

Please check OTHER models/products (UxxxNL), they may have 16GB pre-installed.

Regards.

Sorry but in Italy does not exist notebook X360 13 series with 16GB ram.

Are you sure that is impossible to upgrade RAM?

HP Pavilion X360 13-U113NL RAM

I'm seeing that in page

http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-13-u100-x360-Convertible-PC/12589419/model/13222228/...

related to product

HP Pavilion x360 - 13-u113nl (ENERGY STAR)

there is an how-to that explain  how to "Removing and Replacing the Memory Module for HP Pavilion x360 Notebook PCs".

I' m seeing also that in the Spec description on your site for all notebooks there are many different type of description, like:

onboard

integrated

1 x aa GB

2 x bb GB

...

This means, concretely, that if it is not mentioned it is upgradable.

For U113NL it says 1x8GB DDR4 SDRAM 2133. Not onboard,  not integrated.
I think there is too much confusion in terminology and descriptions are not normalized according to a clear structure for all.

The question: is possible to know (reading the information of motherboard) if there are slot for RAM?
