I'm considering buying HP Pavilion gaming 15-EC2259NF but i have concerns as it comes with 8 GB ram only

Could i upgrade it to 16 GB?

Hi:

 

Yes you can upgrade your notebook's memory to 16 GB.

 

You can upgrade it to 32 GB if you want.

 

HP only has the service manual for the older 15-ex0xxx model series.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory is supported.

 

Since the notebook you want to buy comes with 2 x 4 GB of memory, you will need to replace both chips in order to upgrade to 2 x 8 GB or 2 x 16 GB.
