I have an HP Pavilion x360 14-cd1023tx.
Currently my laptop is in the service center because the right side hinges push the screen out, causing the screen to crack. For the record, my laptop has never been dropped and rarely used in tablet mode.
What I want to ask, is the damage included in the warranty? Because I was informed that the warranty does not apply to cracked screens, only to hinges. I also was asked to pay for a replace of a broken screen, eventhough the screen is cracked due to hinges.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
With the standard one-year limited warranty, you will be covered for repair or replacement of parts deemed defective. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, screen crack and liquid spillage.
In order to bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. I am sending you a private message. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Thank you for your reply and help.
My laptop has been repaired at the service center with a warranty, the damaged spare part has been replaced, and now the condition is back to normal.
Thanks also to Ms. Isha and Mr. Hafiz from HP Customer Support who have been very helpful and provide information so that my laptop repairs can be completed.
