Hello,
Existing RAM -16GB , SSHD-1TB
Want to upgrade to 16GB RAM by adding 8GB RAM
Want to install 1TB SSD (existing SSHD not removed)
Please advise which RAM and SSD should I install.
Thanks and Regards

Manual says machine supports 12GB (8GB+4GB) But I believe your can use 16GB, it may crash sometimes because the cache is too small. You have to REMOVE old SSHD before you can install 1TB SSD. Machine has ONLY one slot for storage.
Regards.

Hello NKBakhara.
Laptop's manual clearly states dual-storage capabilities:
NKBakhara, you can leave the 2.5" drive as is and use it together with a m.2 drive. This can either be a SATA m.2 drive or a PCIe NVME one. We have recently discovered that these machines also support the ultra fast PCIe drives: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Does-this-laptop-have-dual-m-2...
