The right lower side of my screen is suddenly popping out.  I have not dropped or jostled the computer at all.  Looking through the forums, this is a common issue (i.e. a manufacturers defect).  What, if any, is the solution to this?  I've had the computer for over a year, so it is out of warranty.  But it hasn't been much over a year.  This is ridiculous and if there is no viable resolution, I think that this will be the last HP product that I purchase.

How should I go about fixing this or having the issue resolved?

Hi @RednckMortician,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

I too have the same issue of the bottom right corner of the screen popping out when the screen is opened. There is no problem with the picture on the screen and the touch screen still works fine. I have been using this laptop for little more than a year. I am afraid this would lead to permanent damage if not fixed now. Looking at the number of people having the same issue this is a manufacturing defect. Hoping HP will fix this issue quickly.
