Hi:

The  Radeon 7450m graphics adapter in your notebook cannot be upgraded or replaced without spending hundreds of dollars for a different motherboard with better graphics, if one even exists for your model.

Hi , My HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC has the following configuration. Please let me know if I can upgrade my graphic card.  I need to play some good PC games but the performance of graphics is poor on this config.

Hi:

You cannot replace the video adapter in your g6 without spending hundreds of dollars replacing the motherboard for one which may be available with better graphics.

So, what should I do ?.    Should Ii buy a new laptop ?   or this one can be upgraded.

HP Recommended

Buying a new notebook is a decision only you can make.

I certainly wouldn't spend a ton of $$ for a new motherboard and have no guarantee that the notebook would even work after I had to take almost the entire thing apart to replace the board.  I have no experience with that.

My decision would be to live with what I had until it was time for me to buy a new one, or see if someone would buy mine for a decent amount of $$$, and I would use those proceeds toward buying one with the graphics capablities I needed.

Thanks Paul.  I  appreciate your help.

Take care.!!
