Hi I have an HP Pavillion 15 p233.no with an ADATA 256 GB SSD M.2 SATA that has stopped working. Can it be replaced with an Intel 512 GB NVMe M.2 disk

@svsamuel, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I would suggest you refer to the Service Guide(pages 2-3) that gives you a list of tested HDDs on your PC. Also, you can use other compatible HDDs but HP will not guarantee their performance and functionality.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Yes I do. I see from the guide that HP has tested and approved 256GB, but do you think I can insert an SSD 512 GB m.2 SATA card instead.

Hello again. Because it is a bit difficult to change disk on this PC as I have to turn off the motherboard and replace the mentioned SSD M.2 SATA card which is under the motherboard 😉 ?? That's why I wonder if I can insert a 2.5 "Samsung 860 EVO Series 500GB Drive instead. Thanks for the quick reply

HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
