HP Pavillion Sleekbook 14pc charging problems

Product: HP Pavillion Sleekbook 14pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a situation where "sometimes" like now, my battery is charging and have 10 minutes until full charge...

then it will show a quick message like "locking" and i have to restart, and when I do, it shows i have no charge left on the battery.

so now the laptop could go ping at any moment and i have to start all over again.

I have a new battery and new adapter,  which worked perfectly before I went away for 4 weeks but now it just will not charge properly as before.

its driving me insane getting the orange or white light to work before I can get my laptop to work.... but the "time" lapse before it cuts out is getting longer.

i've done the bios thing to death
