HP ProBook 430 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the HP ProBook 430 G5 and invested in the HP USB-C Dock G5, thinking these two would be a seamless pairing as a both G5.

So the issue I have is that when I connect the dock to the USB-C port the display ports work, power is delivered to the laptop and the power button on the dock works. That's it, there is no detection in windows that the dock is connected and no usb, network or audio...

If I plug the doc into a standard USB slot with an adapter it detects the USB ports and dock but no power or display.. This just doesn't seem right surely? Everything should be working via the USB-C port?

I've had a clean image of windows installed, updated the firmware on the laptop and dock but it just doesn't work as expected. I also cant add the dock to myHP as it doesnt recognise the serial no and/or product no....
