Hi all, I'd like to expand an HP ProBook 450 G6 Notebook PC and I'm looking at SSD PLEXTOR M9Pe PX-256M9PeG 256Гб, M.2 2280, PCI-E x4, NVMe. Do you know if it will work?

Thanks a lot in advance

frank

As long as your 450 G6 is not a Pentium or Celeron pcocessor model, yes.

See p. 2 and pp. 38-46:

I have not specifically tested the Plextor SSD in this laptop or any other laptop but it is an NVME x4 M.2 SSD and the specifications of the laptop say it will work. We have seen very few compatibility issues with specific type M.2 SSDs on models such as this one with 8th gen Intel Core CPUs. That was not true a couple years back with 6th gen units. M.2 SSD compatibility seems to be getting better and better.
