My HP pen stopped working today. Yesterday, it was working fine but today it will not read any pen movements, only my finger (since it's touch screen).

Is there any way to reset the pen? I had this laptop for 3 months so the pen is brand new and was working fine before. I'm a digital artist so I really need it fixed.

I also looked at the rest of the HP forums and nothing else worked.

Thank you!

Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, the Pen is not working.

Don't worry, I'm here to help. To better assist you -

1) May I have the exact model name of the computer? Refer to this link for steps to find the product details.

2) Could you also help us with the name of the Pen or the Stylus that you are using?

In the meantime, let's try updating the computer -

Step 1 Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Click on this link to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 3 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Let me know how that goes.
