Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I got a customized HP Spectre x360 16 inch laptop this past summer. I have been using it for less than 4 months, and I have noticed that long scratches are appearing near the top of the screen. It seems to be where there is a bevel in the body of the laptop. Whenever I am carrying this laptop, I keep it in its protective sleeve carrying case. While I did my research on this computer, I never saw any information that said it was prone to scratches. So, I didn't think that it would need a screen protector. Based on the location and the fact that the scratches seem to become worse each time the laptop is closed, it's clear that this is due to the design of the laptop. I am planning on using this laptop for a long time, and it's frustrating that the screen is already scratched after less than four months of use.

I don't know if this issued is covered under the warranty of the product, and if it is, any next steps that I can take.

Thanks for any clarification.
