HP Thunderbolt Compatibility with HP ZBook 15

HP Recommended
HP Zbook 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all, I have a HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 120w dock, and an HP Zbook 15.  While using the dock the Zbook is capable of outputting to the displays, using the USB's on the dock itself, and functions correctly.  However it does not charge the Zbook when it is docked.  From my research so far, it requires more power, like a 230w power supply.  My question is, since I already have the HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 120w, is it possible to ONLY buy the power 230w power supply and use it with this dock? Or do I have to buy a whole new dock which I would assume would be the HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 230w.

Thank you all for your help!

Which version of the Zbook 15? I have the Zbook 15 G3 using the 230w version of the specific Zbook dock. It charges my laptop but the dock has an odd double headed output cable. It plugs both into a thunderbolt port and a pin-type charging port.
