HP damaged hard drive

I have a damaged hard drive, I want to purchase and replace the hard drive with Windows 10 already installed on it from HP, how can I do that?

You cannot. If you are under warranty and send it in for hard drive replacement they will reimage the hard drive to factory original. But they do not sell pre-imaged hard drives.

The warranty is expired. How can I install Windows 10 on a clean hard drive? I'm afraid they will ask for validation and I won't have it.

Understood but no longer needed. The license Key is embedded in the BIOS and also the activation servers have a record of your hardware and when you install, it just activates. Trust me I have done it dozens of times. If the laptop ever had Windows 10 installed and activated it will re-activate when you reinstall. Where are you located? We can help you find a hard drive for a favorable price and you may want to consider upgrading to a solid state drive as prices have never been lower than now. We can walk you through driver and some app reinstallation.

I am located in Indianapolis, any assisstance would help immensely, I'm helping my co-worker to fix her son's computer, he spilled water on it I think, and he has Asperger's so I'd like to help him.
