HP envy x360

Long story short, my laptop's screen cracked a while back, and along with it came ghost touches going absolutely crazy. It took a lot of struggling to turn it off, and I haven't turned it on since. I've been holding off on getting a repair because this is my only source of doing school work, but I'd really like to be able to fix it.

My laptop type is the HP Envy x360 15m-ds0xxx

What I want to know is that, were the whole LCD assembly to be replaced, would that fix the ghost touch issue, or is there another problem with my laptop? And second of all, is there anywhere I can get it repaired without it being with a fake part? I'm not sure how much it'll cost, and I doubt I have nearly enough saved up, but its something i rather do sooner than later.

Thanks in advance.

please I don't know how to bump this but I would really appreciate it if someone would at least reply. The virtual agent chat was of no use, and if this is a bust too then I really don't know what to do.
