You should never fully drain a li-ion battery.

Try resetting the EC (embedded controller).

With power adapter not connected, press and hold the power button for about 30+ seconds.

In the Windows Battery-report, what is the design capacity as compared to the full charge capacity?

Does the charge indicator light up when the power adapter is connected?

Thanks Erico,

I tried power drain and hard resets, even the laptop is charged.

As per current report Design capacity of battery is 70,070mwh. Fully charge capacity shown 57,365 mwh.

plug in mode the indicator blinking (orange) system on condition and system off shown as white.

In Boot menu , Battery test report shown as insert the battery.

"Battery test report shown as insert the battery"

That would likely indicate that the BMS chip in the battery, the S.M.A.R.T. reporting chip that reports to the BMS system chip on the laptop on the smBus, has probably failed.

The battery can't communicate with the laptop and that is why it is not getting used as a mobile power source.

Thanks for your information Erico,

Im not aware technically, so i given to one of the services center, they told battery replacement may need to do. But tomorrow only they confirm.

Is it required battery replacement?. Since

Laptop bought 1.5 year old.

"But tomorrow only they confirm."  I do not understand what you are trying to say as that is an incomplete sentence in English.

Laptop batteries have a one year warranty in the US.

I do not know how log their warranty is in India.

Service center will confirm the new battery replacement is required or not by tomorrow.

Tomorrow they going to fix another battery and validate the charging is happened or not.

Warranty period is already expired.
