Hello, I have a Pavillion 13 x 360 notebook PC which is just over a year old (out of warranty!) and the battery is not holding charge and message comes up saying storage capacity of battery is low and may need repacing.
Apart from the fact that a duff battery after one year seems very bad, I cannot find where to purchase a repalcement anywhere. I have the part numbers and serial numbers of the PC and the battery, but after much searching on the HP website and all over the web, no luck. Battery p/n is NP03043XL
Please help.

You should ask the online seller directly, who sells this part, to confirm that it is indeed HP part number 761230-005. Then you can go ahead purchase this.
Hope you're aware that this is not official HP technical support.
All the members, experts and whoever helping here are end-users like you.
The only suggestion I've to give you regarding this is the HP part number I posted is the one you've to buy.
To confirm the genuineness of the part, you've to contact the seller. We cannot help you in that.

HP Pavillion 13x360-a203na, P/N MOR72EA#ABU.
I have run battery test. I says as I previously posted. My problem is I cannot identify the correct replacenment battery anywhere as there are so many types, but none with the part number I have. The PC test says the battery is NP03043XL.

You need HP part number 761230-005.
Search this through online stores or HP part store in your country.

Thank you for your help. However you say I need the part number 761230-005, but the links to ebay you supplied have a different part number (760944-421). So this is what is confusing me. I also have part number NP03043XL, but all the batteries I see are NP030XL. Is that the same??
Is it not possible to buy a new battery from HP, as it is quite a new PC??
